This hiring process is lengthy and thorough. They scrutinize candidates closely, so any false claims about your background, especially educational qualifications, will be discovered. If you claim to be a college graduate, be prepared to provide proof after you are hired, as your employment will depend on it.
Don't bother applying here and wasting your references. This company does things backwards. HR will find you and tell you to apply even if you lack the necessary freight experience. You'll have two in-person interviews, complete an online test, and need to submit a driver's abstract, references, and a ton of other documents for a background check. They'll contact your four references, collect all your documents, and run all the checks. Then, after two months, they'll inform you that you weren't selected.
So the process started with a phone screening, then I had several in-person interviews with different managers at different office locations. I was told to wear business attire. All the managers seemed really genuine and had their specific questions prepared. I'd suggest being ready to talk in detail about what you're good at and not so good at.
