We had a 45 minute virtual interview, which is different from their usual in-person interviews. The discussion focused on my resume and how I'd fit the role, covering behavioral and situational questions based on my experience.

I didn’t enjoy the final interview because I felt constrained by the partner’s presence, as if my neck were being choked. This made me speak unnaturally, and I think it was largely due to the rigid, Nikkei-style atmosphere.

We had 3 rounds of interviews. First, an HR call. Then, a chat with a senior consultant. Finally, a meeting with a director. It's mostly about talking about yourself and making a good impression. Speaking Japanese is a plus.
