This was the most professional interview process I've been through. I liked that I got to do a Real Job Preview before accepting the role. The people I work with are outstanding, so I appreciate how selective the hiring process is.
The whole process took about 3 days, starting with a phone call and ending with an in-person interview. I thought I did pretty well after the interview, but I never heard back from them. The other Spanish guy was saying it's probably because they only hire White people. He said it doesn't matter if you dress sharp and perform amazingly; if you're not Caucasian, it won't make a difference.
I applied on Indeed and got a call back about three days later. We played phone tag for a few days, and then I went in for an interview. I felt good about the interview because they offered me a ride along day. It was raining and the weather was terrible on my ride along day. The supervisor I rode with was impressed that I kept offering to help and said I didn't mind the weather, since I had a rain jacket. I filled out a questionnaire about my ride along experience, and a manager called me the next day for a second interview. I got hired at the second interview and started a week later, after giving my old job a week's notice.
