It was a really long interview process. I had a phone call, then a Zoom call, and then a virtual interview, all with different people. One of the interviewers was kind of rude and super blunt, but the others were fine. The whole vibe was just a bit weird. It felt like nobody was on the same page about anything.
I applied online and had to pass an attention to detail test and an Excel test. Then the hiring manager contacted me directly. The conversation went okay and I was asked to submit a vendor proposal after the interview. I spent a few hours doing research and completing the proposal, then sent the email and heard nothing afterward.
I applied for the job and they liked my profile. Then I waited for a month. They came back asking me to do a case study which included an instagram grid, instagram stories, and a monthly content calendar strategy. After another month of waiting, I found out they were restructuring and paused hiring. It would have been nice to know that before I did the case study.
