Candidate-reported interview process

There was just one round with the senior manager, and that was it. However, I know many candidates go through 3-4 rounds, so it really depends on the team. The interview with the manager was about half an hour, and then it was over.

After applying, there was a long silence for almost two months. Then, an initial chat with the hiring manager about my previous research work. Following that, I had another interview via Teams with a regional head, just before the final stages. The company paid for my travel to their Chicago headquarters for panel interviews with several team members. While meeting the team was a positive experience, the internal communication seems to be in complete disarray, as they didn't follow up even when they had further questions and simply rejected me.

Honest process focused on the person and delivery capability, done entirely remotely. There were different stages from informal approach via LinkedIn to registration on the official Workday platform, interviews with HR, direct manager, and regional manager.
