The interview process was pretty quick and didn't involve too many interview stages. I first spoke with the General Manager, and then the Regional Manager. I actually got a job offer after just two interviews. The pay was competitive and the work hours seemed reasonable.
I arrived about 15 minutes early for my interview on a Thursday afternoon around 1 PM. The General Manager was the only one present initially. During the interview, a woman and her child entered, requiring the GM to pause our conversation to attend to them and attempt a sale. After our initial meeting concluded, I followed up for about a week. This continued for several weeks. In retrospect, it was a clear warning sign, but I was eager for employment. It took a full month from my interview for me to be hired, significantly longer than the typical one to two weeks. The GM also mentioned he had other candidates to interview and expected to make a decision the following week.
It was an in-person interview. Before that, I had a phone interview. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The general manager's relaxed and honest approach really helped me perform my best during the interview.
