Candidate-reported interview process

I applied online for a Software Development Internship focused on Large Scale Distributed Systems and then had a phone interview. The interviewer was really nice and asked about my background and projects. They finished by asking a coding question, which I think I answered correctly, but I got rejected a week later. It felt like an easy interview and the recruiter was also friendly.

I applied online and then HR reached out for a phone chat. The person interviewing me was super nice and patient. They talked about their projects and answered all my questions. Honestly, it was one of the best interview experiences I've had.

I applied online and after about a month, the Hiring Manager called me. Then there was a phone screen followed by a phone interview. I got rejected via email a week later.
