Candidate-reported interview process

Got referred by someone who works here. Had a phone screening, then they invited me for an onsite interview. The onsite had 4 technical rounds and 1 HR round. They asked me about networking stuff like protocols and headers, and also about my past experience and projects. I think I did okay answering most things and felt pretty good about it. But, I got rejected after about 2 weeks.

The interview process began with a 1-hour written test covering basic networking and testing questions. This was followed by a very long Skype interview lasting 5 hours, with 5 different people interviewing me back-to-back. Unfortunately, 2-3 of the interviewers seemed disinterested and didn't really listen to my answers. The whole thing was poorly coordinated and felt like a waste of time, with one panel member even leaving for 15 minutes mid-interview. Overall, it was a negative experience with a company that seems to lack ethics and values.

It was a phone interview first and then an on site interview that lasted for about 4-5 hrs. The interviews are very detailed and you better know finer details of tcp (hint: state diagram, MSL, TIME_WAIT) cause you will get grilled with those questions
