Candidate-reported interview process

A recruiter got in touch and then I had a meeting set up with the hiring manager. The interview was a casual conversation, not a panel with typical questions. The hiring manager was really down to earth and funny, it was great talking to them.

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. It involved maybe 3 phone calls, starting with a recruiter, then two calls with department heads, and finally an in-person meeting. That was it.

The interview was fast and complete. The guys who interviewed me were pros. They didn't ask a ton of questions, mostly about what the first couple of years would be like. They also offered me a welding job.
