Candidate-reported interview process

The interview was great, calm, and refreshing. I was treated like a real person, not like an owner. It wasn't complicated, very easy. I was able to establish a connection with the hiring manager; it felt like we knew each other.

I applied in person and then got a call for a group interview with the manager. We showed up dressed casual but trendy. The manager asked typical retail stuff like 'why do you want to work here', 'give me a fun fact about you', 'how would others describe you', and 'where do you shop'... etc. Just be friendly and upbeat, seem eager to work there.

It was overall pretty average, it was pretty informal, we had to wait for some time. Until, the manager pulled us aside, individually, asked us to fill out some forms and, proceeded with routine questions.
