The interview experience was pretty good overall. The interviewer asked relevant questions and we had project discussions. A lot of the questions were on topics I'd already prepared for, so I felt comfortable answering them. We started with a quick intro about me, then moved on to questions about my GenAI projects and how they function in real life. They asked about the architecture, the tools I used, and how the system deals with practical, real-world situations.
The hiring process usually has a few steps: first they look at your application, then an initial chat, then some interviews (phone, video, or in-person), maybe some tests or case studies, and finally they decide. Each part checks your skills, experience, and if you fit in, so they can find the best person for the job and the company.
It was pretty tough, with basic questions, but mostly behavioral. No technical interviews. Around 4 rounds total, which wasn't too bad if you practiced. Make sure to focus on DCF, LBOs, modeling, and valuations. Do a good job with those.
