They started off asking the basic interview questions and then proceeded to ask why I wanted to go into analytics role. I replied that it can provide the company with useful knowledge via making sense out of data and information, to which they replied later after I asked if they had any hesitations about me, that it seemed like I really did not have an interest in data analytics. I have a 4.0 gpa for my major gpa and was very interested from the start. I probably could have used more business lingo for this role, by referencing their revenue. Interviewer was harsh though and would NOT want to be part of this company anyways because of their culture and rocky interview process.
I encountered them at the Ohio State Career Fair, and the whole process went pretty well. After applying online, I got a heads-up about a quantitative screening test. This test basically involved simple math problems and making sense of charts. The in-person interview was nice, and they asked pretty direct questions. I also had to do a data science case where I had to figure out how to analyze a spreadsheet of data.
A third-party recruiter reached out to me to set up a phone screen with 84.51. They then invited me in for an interview the following week, and there was a second interview after that. Everyone I met was super nice and accommodating, which made me feel really comfortable. The first interview was mainly about getting to know the team, and the second one was more in-depth, asking how I would handle specific scenarios for the role. There were also some straightforward programming questions.
