The interview was good and the staff were really nice. The questions came quickly and it felt pretty relaxed. They did a video interview that lasted about 20 minutes with just one person, no panel.
So for the internship, you gotta complete all the requirements, and also agree to terms that you'll follow safety guidelines & be mindful of others. Plus, you'll need to fill hours by yourself to complete the internship.
After applying, I had a video call. That's where it ended. 7Cups was clear about the process and very nice. The interview was ideal – no whiteboarding, no tricky questions. Just basic code questions to check my skills. They wanted big-picture answers, not perfect syntax. They also explained what issues they'd already addressed when asking these questions. It felt comfortable and like a genuine check of my thinking, not free work. 7Cups answered all my questions, and I didn't see any issues with their company's processes, principles, or history. Sadly, I didn't move on to the next round.
