Candidate-reported interview process

The interview was pretty standard, asking about data gathering and dashboard creation. The interviewers were clear about expectations and what the first 90 days would look like. I had a good chance to ask questions, and they gave clear answers.

So I applied for the job and did all the assessments. Then I had to do a background check. After that, I waited about 3 weeks to meet with the senior leadership. The interview was supposed to start at 11:00 a.m. but I was 15 mins early and they told me there would be a delay. I waited and waited, and it was 11:30 a.m. before I learned the interview before me was still going on. I had to leave at 12:15 p.m. so I rescheduled with the recruiter. I followed up a couple times, but they said they weren't moving forward with my application. It was a good thing though because I learned about their professionalism and coordination issues.

The process was impersonal and clunky. The interviewer wasn't knowledgeable about the company or the role and was distracted. I asked about company culture and got a clear understanding of my questions.
