I went for a walk-in interview in Kuta, Bali for a Hostess position in Dubai, UAE. This role was for Nobu restaurant within Atlantis The Royale, which was getting ready to launch. I was the last one interviewed by the Atlantis Group HR person. He reviewed my resume and asked typical questions. The interview was short, about 20 minutes, and felt relaxed. He was the only interviewer. I got accepted within a week but couldn't take the job because of visa issues.
I applied on LinkedIn and HR reached out about 4 months after I applied. A few days later, I had a phone screening where they asked about my past experience and my career aspirations. They mentioned they wanted me to schedule an in-person interview. A couple of weeks later, I went in and interviewed with three team members. After the in-person interview, it took about 3.5 weeks for them to offer me the position.
I drove 2 hours in traffic and these women were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, barely paying me any attention. Most of them had no clue about the work in my book and couldn't even tell me the job requirements. They clearly had little to no advertising or design background and no real understanding of the work. They acted like they enjoyed the smell of their own farts, with no care or respect for others' time. To top it all off, they gave my recruiter the WRONG parking lot, so I lost $50. Thanks, 360 Agency, for wasting my time and money. I'm glad I didn't work here after reading the reviews.
