The interview process felt like a waste of time. It started with a WhatsApp call for a phone interview where they asked basic questions about my past jobs, reasons for leaving, and why I was interested in their company. They would only decide whether to proceed after this. The in-person interview was not great either. There was a 15-minute written test, which was too short to finish. Then, interviewers asked me questions in English, Japanese, and Chinese, mainly focusing on why I chose their company and why I believed I was a good fit for the job. The questions felt pretty pointless to me. The office was in a shared workspace. Honestly, I don't think it's worth the effort.
They just asked basic behavioral questions. Asked me questions about some of my favorite brands to get a grasp of my knowledge on fashion and prices. Also asked how I would deal with unhappy customers etc
The interview was easy and informative, conducted via Google Meet. It gave me a good idea of the job description and my responsibilities. They seem to prefer candidates with some understanding of fashion and prior experience in the field or similar roles. Overall, it was a smooth experience.
