Candidate-reported interview process

It was a pretty simple interview. They ask questions to see if you can handle customers, money handling and other tasks like putting merchandise away. I recommend to be positive going in and loosen up.

I interviewed with the current general manager. He was really nice and asked lots of really good and thoughtful questions about my experience and problem solving skills. At the end of the interview, I asked about next steps and he told me that I'd done a good job and that he would talk with his team and get back to me within the week with an answer, regardless of his decision. I never heard from him. I even texted him to follow up and didn't get a reply. Really frustrating.

They emailed me two months after I applied and we scheduled an interview. It's been another two months and I haven't heard back. I'm assuming I didn't get the job, but even if I did, I don't think I'd take it based off the lack of communication.
