The hiring process was lengthy, involving repeated calls to confirm my in-person interview after an initial HR screening. Reaching the regional vice president's office was difficult; you had to call the main office during business hours, deal with phone operators, and often end up on voicemail. They called from a private number and didn't provide an email, making the process less user-friendly.
The hiring process takes a really long time. First, there's an assessment and testing. Then, a phone screen, after which they said they'd get back within a week, but it took much longer. After that, there was an in-person screening and interview. The executive I spoke with was loud and aggressive. They called the next day with a job offer, but it took another week for the drug and background screen paperwork. Two weeks later, they wanted me to start ASAP. The same executive was surprised I hadn't given notice to my current employer yet and was upset about the two-week wait to start.
I spoke with the Director of Marketing and my direct manager. They wanted to know about my work habits, strengths, weaknesses, and technical abilities. It felt pretty chill, but they were still being professional.
