I applied online and the COO emailed me about salary expectations. I wanted to know more about the role first, like the clients, work type, and location since they had two options. He only said they needed someone to manage client accounts, which was obvious. After more back and forth with no details, I suggested a call. On the phone, he didn't mention the position or company and asked about my past experience and salary. I was frustrated by the lack of info and the rude communication, and felt he was racist, so I ended the interview wanting to get back to him via email, as I wasn't interested in joining a company with such poor hiring practices, especially from the COO.
Got an email with the interview time and office location, then met with my future boss. It was pretty easy, way easier than most interviews, because he's a good person and knows exactly who he wants for the job.
The interview process was really unprofessional. The company seemed unorganized and lacked clear direction. They didn't seem to have proper interview procedures. I didn't get to see much of the sales floor or observe any activity.
